Scholars have scratched their heads over the meaning of the above passage, found in the writings of the prophet Jeremiah. In the first place, many do not believe in a plurality of ‘gods’.

According to their thinking, there is only one ‘god’ who made heaven and earth and mankind.

If this be true, why would Jeremiah make such a statement?

and why do we also find Isaiah making the following statement? "And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall punish the host of the high ones that are on high, and the

kings of the earth upon the earth. And they shall be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit, and shall be shut up in the prison, and after many days SHALL THEY BE VISITED." - Isaiah 24:21

In an earlier part of this study, we saw Lucifer cast down from the Highest heavens to our Solar system and to Earth in particular. With him were many ‘angels’, who had also been cast out.

But when they came to Earth, it was ‘without form and desolate’, in need of a lot of fixing up, to make it habitable. According to the clay tablets found in Akkadia, Sumeria and Babylon, 900 ‘gods’ of the Anunnaki, came from the Planet Nirubi with Anu.

Of these, 300 remained in ‘heaven’ (in their spacecrafts) while 600 descended to Earth and eventually, 200 of these intermarried with the daughters of men. All in all, there were 900 b’nai Elohim.

After mankind began to multiply on Earth, some of these ‘gods’ were appointed by Enki to act as protectors and ‘watchers’ of various nations. According to the book of Daniel, there was a ‘sar’ (Prince) for Persia; a ‘sar’ (Prince) for Babylon and even a ‘sar’ (Prince) for Israel.

"When the MOST HIGH divided to the nations their inheritance, when he separated the sons of Adam, and set the bounds of the people according to the numbering of the number of the children of Israel, for the LORD’s (Yahweh) portion is his people, even Jacob, the lot of his inheritance."
- Deut. 32:8,9

This belief became part of the Christian belief system, as per St. Clement.

CLEMENT OF ALEXANDRIA ON THE ROLE OF ANGELS

St. Clement said that there were seven Angels, who are higher than all the other angels.

He also affirmed that each nation and city was assigned to the care of particular angels and that there are angel who preside over the Planets and some appointed to watch over particular individuals

"As for those angels who watch over individuals, their office is to assist in disposing the mind for the reception of Divine Inspiration. The lower angels, were in direct communications with man and the agents in directing mortal events".

From the Book of Daniel, we glean that certain of these ‘sarim’ were making war upon each other, in their role as ‘protectors’ of their assigned people.
- (Dan. 10:12, 13)

There is another interesting passage found in the speech of the aged Joshua, which seems to speak of three sets of gods, but which in reality, were probably the same gods with different national names:

"And Joshua gathered all the tribes of Israel to Shechem and called for the leaders of Israel . . .

And Joshua said unto all the people, ‘Thus says the LORD (Yahweh) God (Eloha) of Israel, Your fathers lived on the other side of the flood (Euphrates River) in olden times, even Terah, the father of Abraham and Nachor, and they served other Gods.

And I took your father Abraham from the other side of the flood (Euphrates River). . . Now,

therefore, fear the LORD and serve him in sincerity and in truth; and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood and in Egypt; . . . or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you live."
- Joshua 24:2, 3, 14, 15

In previous chapters, we have looked at some of the ancient gods and we have began to look at Yahweh (or Jehovah), to learn who he was or is.

For this reason, in this issue, we now need to deal with the evidence. Since we have already looked at the Ten gods of Egypt, let’s begin with gods of Canaan (or Phoenicia).

THE GODS OF CANAAN - PHOENICIA

A few peoples through consecutive planetary ages kept fidelity to the ancient Kronos (Saturn), whose age was previous to that of Jupiter. Thus the Scythians were called Umman-Manda by the Chaldeans, and Manda is the name of Saturn.

The Phoenicians regarded El-Saturn as their chief deity; Eusebius informs us that El, a name used also in the Bible as a word for God, was the name of Saturn.

El - (also called Latipan, and possibly Dagon) He is known as the Father of the gods, 'the father of mankind', the 'Bull', and 'the creator of creatures'. He is grey haired and bearded and lives at Mt. Lel.

He is a heavy drinker and has gotten extremely drunk at his banquets.

(How many ‘Father of the gods can there be? This is a description of Yahweh.)

As a young god, he went out to the sea and, spying two ladies, one of whom is presumably Athirat, becomes aroused, roasts a bird and asks the two to choose between being his daughters or his wives.

They become his wives and in due course they give birth to Shachar, Shalim, and possibly other gracious gods, who could be Athirat's seventy children and/or much of the rest of the pantheon. The new family raises a sanctuary in the desert and lived there for eight years.

He orders that Yam be given kingship and sets Kothar and Khasis to build the new king a throne.

The gods warn that Yam has been shamed and may wreck destruction, so El ameliorates him by renaming him mddil - 'beloved of El' and throws a feast for him.

El warns though that this is contingent on his driving out of Baal, who may fight back. Following Yam's demise, he favors the god Mot.
(As we saw in our last issue, Baal was the nephew of Jehovah/Enlil.)

BAAL LIVES WITH EL

While Baal is declared king and judge, he remains a resident of El and Athirat's palace as El refuses him permission to build an appropriate mansion, in spite of Shapash.

When Baal-Hadad's monsters assail the handmaidens of Yarikh and Lady Athirat of the Sea, he advises them to give birth to beasts which will lure Baal-Hadad away on a hunt.

He favors King Keret, who may be his son, offering him riches upon the death of his many spouses and eventually promising him the princess Huray and many children, provided he make the proper sacrifices and follow his instructions.

After Keret takes ill, El eventually convenes an assembly of the gods in order to ask one of them to rid Keret of his illness. Eventually, El dispatches the demoness Sha'taqat who cures Keret.

Anat brings her complaints of Aqhat before him and threatens to strike him in the head when he gives his response. He then replies that he knows how contemptuous she is and won't stand in her way.

Athirat (Asherah, Ashtartian - 'the Lady of the Sea', Elat - 'the goddess')

El's loving consort and is protective of her seventy children who may also be known as the gracious gods, to whom she is both mother and nursemaid. Her sons, unlike Baal initially, all have godly courts. She frequents the ocean shore. In the Syrian city of Qatra, she was considered Baal-Hadad's consort.

While washing clothing with a female companion by the sea, she is spied by El, who roasts a bird and invites the two to choose between being his daughters or his wives. They choose to become his wives and in due course give birth to the gracious gods, the cleavers of the sea, including Shachar and Shalim. The new family builds a sanctuary in the desert and lives there for eight years.

Baal and Anat hope to use her to influence El on the issue of Baal's palace. Initially suspicious and fearful of them on behalf of her children, but she warms up when she see that they have brought gifts. She and Anat successfully intercede with El on Baal's behalf for permission for Baal to build a more suitable court.

THE DEATH OF BAAL

When Baal is found dead, she advocates her son Athtar be made king. Her sons, the "'pounders' of the sea", apparently colluded with Mot and were smitten by Baal with sword and mace upon his return.

Baal-Hadad's creatures devour her handmaidens, so she sends them to El. El tells them to go into the wilderness and there birth horned buffalo, which will distract Baal-Hadad.

She and Anat serve as nursemaids for Keret's son Yassib, but reminds Keret of his pledge of wealth for Huray, perhaps causing his decline in health because of its lack of fulfillment.

Did Elijah know that Baal was dead and therefore, incapable of causing rain to fall upon the sacrifice dedicated to Baal? It’s a thought. The Greeks called ‘El’ Zeus, king of the gods. And yet they point to his tomb in Crete! ! !

Each of these god’s names, have a counter part in Babylonian and Egyptian mythology. yet the name El shows up throughout Hebrew history. ‘El’ can be THE GOD or the generic version, as in ‘Elohim’ (which is plural). See my article on the War Against Baal. Now, let’s take one more look at Jehovah’s war on the Gods of Egypt.

WAR WITH THE GODS OF EGYPT

Even though the Twelve Tribes of Israel had lived in Egypt and came out of Egypt to the land of Canaan, they were wont to revert back to the worship of the gods of that land.

And even though Isaiah (chapter 19), in his "Oracle on Egypt," envisioned Yahweh as arriving in Egypt airborne, the people seemed to love the orgies of Baalism. As we saw earlier, the religion of Baal had everything to do with the Planet Venus and her ‘golden calf’.

There was once a "tabernacle" at Shiloh, which was deserted by Yahweh. Why? It was called the ‘Mishkan’. In our previous studies, we saw the people of Israel making golden calves, after they left Egypt and also when Jeroboam became the king of the northern tribes.

The same "molten image"(Golden Calf) was worshiped in connection with the high places by the people of Canaan. Hosea says of the Israelites, "And now they sin more and more, and have made them molten images," and "say of them, "Let the men that sacrifice kiss the calves."

These were the calves of gold, the same as the molten calf of the Exodus.

The "molten images," identified with the calf of Israel’s worship, is the Meschah, the feminine fount called a "teacher of lies" in Habakkuk 2:18.

The calf or cow in Egypt was made of gold or gilded; the "golden Hathor" is a gilded heifer. The cast-out Meschah of the later religion was the same image with the Mishkan of the earlier, and had the same significance.

Both represented the feminine creator, the womb, which was the object of worship when religion was in a very primitive phase. But when the cast image, or manufactured ark, had superseded naked nature, the calf was kissed—or the hindward face of the divinity

- instead of the living likeness of Hathor. This may be the earliest version of the witches Sabbath !

This image has been identified as the Egyptian Meska, called the place of birth. Mes means birth, and Ka is the type, the seat; Kha, the vagina type; Mest, the sexual part (feminine).

Now, the Egyptian Meskhen is a variant of the Meska, and both designate the same thing, the birthplace, the habitation of the child. In Egyptian, Mes-khen is the interior birthplace, or the womb.

It was the habitation personified in Isis by the sacred calf, the heifer, by the cow-headed goddess Hathor.

THE GOLDEN CALF VS. THE RED HEIFER

I believe the offering of the ‘red heifer’ was a kind of substitute for ‘kissing Hathor’. Barnabus, in the Epistle of Barnabus, (Chapter 8:1, 5) gives us a spiritual insight on the law of the Red Heifer, as set forth in chapter 19 of the Book of Numbers, saying:

1. "But what think ye meaneth the type, where the commandment is given to Israel that those men, whose sins are full grown, offer an heifer and slaughter and burn it, and then that the children take up the ashes, and cast them into vessels, and twist the scarlet wool on a tree and the hyssop, and that this done the children should sprinkle the people one by one, that they may be purified from their sins?. . .

5 Then there is the placing the wool on the tree. This means that the kingdom of Jesus is on the cross, and that they who set their hope on Him shall live for ever.

6 And why is there the wool and the hyssop at the same time? Because in His kingdom there shall be evil and foul days, in which we shall be saved; for he who suffers pain in the flesh is healed through the foulness of the hyssop.

7 Now to us indeed it is manifest that these things so befell for this reason, but to them they were dark, because they heard not the voice of the Lord."

THE GODS ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE FLOOD (MESOPOTAMIA)

The two older sons of Anu were Enlil and Enki. Even though Enki was his son by a senior mother, Antu, his brother Enlil was actually born first to another wife, Ki. With the retirement of Anu from the Greater Assembly of Gods, his first born son Enlil-Jehovah assumed the presidency.

He proclaimed that he was master of all the Earth, although his brother Enki-Samael could retain sovereignty of the seas. Enki was not at all happy about his brother's claim because, although Enlil was the elder of the two, his mother, Ki, was their father Anu's junior sister, whereas Enki's mother, Antu, was the senior sister.

True kingship, claimed Enki, progressed as a matrilinear institution through the female line, and by this right of descent Enki maintained that he was the first-born of the royal succession: I am Enki...the great brother of the gods. I am he who has been born as the first son of the divine Anu.

In Sumerian religion Enki was one of a triad together with Anu and Enlil. In the myths Enki is said to have fixed national boundaries, and to have given each god his or her role. According to another myth, Enki is the creator, the one who made man into slaves of the gods.

It is suggested that the name Enki came from Semitic or Sumerian, and meant "House of Water".

In Babylonian religion, Enki (or Ea, as he was called here) fought against the fresh water, Apsu, when the world was created, and he was referred to as Lord of Apsu. Enki was the god over fresh waters, hence the richness of the soil. But he was also the god of wisdom and invocations.

Enki was in earlier religions the local god of Eridu, but developed into becoming a major god. His temple in Eridu was called "House of Apsu". Here there was a tree called kiskanû with

branches that were used in special rituals. During the ceremonies, the priests represented Enki, and appeared in robes showing a fish-like figure.

In everyday religion, Ea was the god of ritual purification, of sorcery and incantation. As the god who had given form to things, he was also the god of craftsmen and artists.

Yahweh was called 'Enlil' or 'Ilu-kur-gal' (meaning 'Ruler of the Mountain' in Hebrew, this becomes ‘El-Shaddi’), and his brother, Enki(Or Ea) becomes Adon, the ‘Lord’.

After Anu’s resignation as Supreme Ruler of the Anunnaki, Enlil/Jehovah is called "father of Gods", "king of heaven and earth" and "king of all lands". Enlil’s older son is Nergal, while Enki’s eldest son is Ra/Marduk. Enki' youngest son was Ningizzida, Lord of the Tree of Truth, in Mesopotamia.

He was revered as Thoth in Egypt and Hermes in the West. Thoth is the Scribe. As Hermes he is the Magician - the Alchemist. The ancient Mystery School Teachings of Thoth were past down to his Initiates who became the priests.

They hid the secret knowledge passed it down secretly through the ages. This knowledge of creation is now called Sacred Geometry.

From earliest recorded times, Nippur was Enlil’s sacred city, not a political capital. It was this holy character which allowed Nippur to survive numerous wars and the fall of dynasties that brought destruction to other cities.

Although not a capital, the city had an important role to play in politics. Enlil helped mankind by bestowing the knowledge of farming, using the plow and the pick-ax.

WHO PLACED THE MARK ON CAIN ???

I am amazed at the difference between the ancient version of the story of Cain and Abel, found in the Babylonian clay tablets and the revised history of Ezra, as found in the Hebrew book of Genesis.

In our bibles, it is the vegetarian Cain who kills the flesh eating Abel. However in the Babylonian account, it is the flesh eater, who kills the vegetarian.!

It is extremely difficult to understand why Jehovah should decide to protect Cain, when it was he who supposedly held the grievance against him. But the fact is that Jehovah did not make this decision.

Cain's protector was not Jehovah. As stated, the 'Mark' was settled upon Cain by the Lord - and the Lord (the Adon) was Cain's own Father, Enki.

THE GUILT TRIP LAID ON MANKIND

Theologians have forever been trained to lay the blame for every natural calamity upon man’s ‘original sin’ in the garden of Eden. Supposedly, all the animals of creation lived in harmony and there were no carnivores until man ruined all of Creation by eating the forbidden fruit.

After man sinned, venom, claws, and sharp teeth replaced the once peaceful balance that rested between all living creatures.

One gentleman, G.H. Pember, who was raised in a good fundamentalist home, was taught this version of Augustian theology but when he grew up and became a scientist, he began to study nature and found some enlightening evidence.

He was taught that there could be no carnivores before sin: because, on the Sixth Day God pronounced every thing which He had made to be "very good", a declaration which would seem altogether inconsistent with the present condition of the animal kingdom, as well as the vegetable kingdom.

Again: "He gave the green herb alone for food to every beast of the field, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth."

There were, therefore, no carnivores in the sinless world.

But Pember came to realize that the fossil record of death, decay, and disease before sin was totally inconsistent with the Bible's teaching:

For, as the fossil remains clearly show not only were disease and death -- inseparable companions of sin -- then prevalent among the living creatures of the earth, but even ferocity and slaughter.

SOME CURIOUS ANOMALIES

Zecharia Sitchin asks, "....Was Yahweh, then, Enki in a biblical-Hebrew garb?

"Were it so simple . . . If we examine closely the tale of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, we will find that while it is the Nahash - Enki's serpent guise as knower of biological secrets - who triggers the acquisition by Adam and Eve of the sexual "knowing" that

enables them to have offspring, he is not Yahweh but an antagonistic of Yahweh (as Enki was to Enlil).

In the Sumerian texts it was Enlil who forced Enki to transfer some of the newly fashioned Primitive Workers (created to work in the gold mines of the Apsu) to the E.DIN in Mesopotamia, to engage in farming and shepherding.

- In the Bible, it is Yahweh who "took the Adam and

placed him in the garden of Eden to tend it and to maintain it."

It was Yahweh, not the Serpent, (serpent entwined around pole is the symbol of Enki) who is depicted as the master of Eden who talks to Adam and Eve, discovers what they had done, and expels them.

In all this, the Bible equates Yahweh not with Enki but with Enlil.

"Indeed, in the very tale - the tale of the Deluge - where the identification with Enki appears the clearest, confusion in fact shows up. The roles are switched, and all of a sudden Yahweh plays the role not of Enki but of his rival Enlil".

THE WAR BETWEEN ENLIL/JEHOVAH AND MARDUK

2029 Ibbi-Sin replaces Shu-Sin. The western provinces increasingly go to Marduk .

which was rebuilt on a later occasion by King Nabopolassar towards the end of the 7th century. And while the size of the tower was impressive for it’s time, it was quite modest compared to modern buildings.

Fighting spreads to central Mesopotamia. Nippur's Holy of Holies is defiled. All this was too much for Enlil-Jehovah. Enlil demands punishment for Marduk and Nabu; Enki opposes, but Nergal sides with Enlil.

As Nabu marshals his Canaanite followers to capture the ancient Spaceport, the Great Anunnaki approve of the use of nuclear weapons.

Nergal and Ninurta destroy the Spaceport and the five errant cities of the Canaanites. These are five cities on the plains of Canaan spoken of in the book of Genesis.
(Archeologists have discovered a deposit of Green glass - from a nuclear detonation - under the soil of Akkadia.)

2023 The winds carry the radioactive cloud to Sumer. It’s people die a horrible death, animals perish, the water is poisoned, and the soil becomes barren. Sumer and its great civilization vanishes.

Its spiritual legacy passes to Abraham's seed as he begets - at age 100- a legitimate heir: Isaac. (The above dates, which I have used, are based on the time-line laid out by Zecharia Sitchin in his, ‘EARTH CHRONICLES’.)

His coup frustrated, Ra/Marduk returns to Egypt, deposes Thoth/Hermes, seizes his younger brother Dumuzi who had betrothed Inanna.

Dumuzi was accidentally killed and Marduk is imprisoned, alive in the Great Pyramid. He escaped through an emergency shaft and goes into exile.

Having lost his popularity, he opened the gates of Sumer to let in invaders from all sides.

The scribes recorded that he, the vengeful Enlil-Jehovah, brought about the "great and terrible storm" which caused the annihilation of all the Sumerian culture so that their language was no longer predominant and there was a "great confusion of tongues".

Ashur then becomes the chief god of Assyria; already the King of the Iggi. Ashur became more important when the Assyrians conquered Mesopotamia. He was the god who replaced the Babylonian Marduk.

ARE ENLIL AND YAHWEH ONE AND THE SAME???

You see, Enlil was considered to be strong, powerful and merciless god, who could be

represented by the storm flood or the hurricane. It was Enlil who brought the Flood and it was Enlil who destroyed Ur and Babylon. It was he who destroyed Akkadia and confounded the speech of mankind. He once even created the monster Labbu in order to wipe out all mankind.

In the Mesopotamian original texts, it is Enlil who is unhappy with the way Mankind has

turned out, who seeks its destruction by the approaching calamity and who makes the other Anunnaki leaders swear to keep all that a secret from Mankind.

- In the Biblical version (Genesis chap. 6), it is Yahweh who voices his unhappiness with Mankind and makes the decision to wipe Mankind off the face of the Earth.

In the tale's conclusion, as Ziusudra/Utnapishtim offers sacrifices on Mount Ararat, it is Enlil who is attracted by the pleasant smell of roasting meat and (with some persuasion) accepts the survival of Mankind, forgives Enki and blesses Ziusudra and his wife.

In Genesis, it is to Yahweh that Noah builds an altar and sacrifices animals on it, and it was Yahweh "who smelled the pleasant aroma."

"So was Yahweh Enlil, after all?

"A strong case can be made for such an identification. It there had been a "first among equals" as far as the two half brothers, sons of Anu, were concerned, the first was Enlil.... it was EN.LIL

("Lord of the Command") who took over as chief of the Anunnaki on Earth. It was a situation that corresponds to the statement in Psalms 97:9: "For thou, O Yahweh, art supreme over the whole Earth; most supreme art thou over all the Elohim."

The elevation of Enlil to this status is described in the Atra-Hasis Epic in the introductory verses, prior to the mutiny of the gold-mining Anunnaki.

"....After Anu, the ruler of Nibiru, returned to Nibiru after visiting Earth, it was Enlil who summoned and presided over the council of the Great Anunnaki whenever major decisions had to be made....

"....the monotheistic Bible lapses several times into describing Yahweh in like manner, chairing an assembly of lesser deities, usually called B'nai-elohim - "sons of gods...."

"The Lord stands in the assembly of the gods, among the Elohim he judges," we read in Psalm 82:1. "Give unto Yahweh, O sons of gods, give unto Yahweh glory and might," Psalms 29:1 stated....

The requirement that even the "sons of the gods" bow to the Lord paralleled the description of the status of Enlil as the Commander in Chief: "The Anunnaki humble themselves before him, the Igigi bow down willingly before him; they stand by faithfully for the instructions."

WAS YAHWEH THE ‘FATHER’ OF THE LORD JESUS? YES & NO.

Christ explained to his followers how he got here. He did not circumvent the many levels of the

Demiurge’s god head. He descended from the highest heaven, literally passing down through the gods, arch-angels, angels and entered mortal flesh - the flesh of Jesus the Nazarene.

When he reascended, the beings on each level of the heavenly ladder, cried out, "How has the Lord of the Universe passed through us?!"

"When I came to the first gate of heaven, my light was so brilliant that the gates of heaven were shaken against each other and they all opened simultaneously.

Then all the Rulers and Authorities and Angels which are there, were thrown into agitation, because of the exceedingly brilliant light about me.

They all gazed at my garment of light and saw the Mystery containing all their names and they feared greatly.

All of their bonds which held them were loosened and they all left their proper order and fell down before me, crying, ‘How has the Lord of the Universe passed through us?!’"

Christ wanted his disciples to understand that they and the angels are all of the same mixture and came from the same lump.

When the God of this world - Yahweh/Enlil came to him and offered him the kingdoms of this world, if he would but bow down and worship him, Jesus Christ refused the offer, not because the kingdoms of this world were not his to give. He did own them.

WHY WOULD GOD PURCHASE SOMETHING HE ALREADY OWNED?

Let me ask you, Why would God ‘purchase’ something he already owned? One does not need to buy something, if he already owns it.

Would our ‘Creator’ need to ‘adopt’ us? I don’t think so.

The Truth is, the Most High God, Father of the Lord Jesus bought us from the Demiurge. "You are bought with a price, you are not your own."
- I Cor. 6:20; 7:23.

He has adopted us and given us the right to become ‘sons of God’.

Christ told Pilate that his kingdom was not of this world, yet there comes a day when it will be said, "The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ."
- Rev. 11:15

"For he must reign in this heavenly kingdom until, he has put down ALL RULERS, ALL POWERS AND AUTHORITIES, then he will deliver up his kingdom to his heavenly FATHER.

For he must reign until he has subdued all enemies under his fee. The last enemy he will subdue will be DEATH."
- I Cor. 15:24-26

Christ explained the difference between his ‘FATHER’ and the God of the Jews, saying, "Why do you not understand what I am saying? [It is] because you cannot!

You are descended from your father the Devil. And the desires of your father, you will do. He was a murder and a liar."
- Jn. 8:43, 44

"These things have I spoken to you, that you should not be offended . . .[when] they do these things to (persecute) you, because they DO NOT KNOW the FATHER, nor me."
- Jn. 16:1,3.

This could hardly be said of Yahweh. Not only did the Jewish people not know this Father, no man has ever SEEN the Father of the Lord Jesus but various ones have seen Yahweh.

Abraham saw him of the plain and he talked to Moses ‘face to face’.
(I Tim. 6:16; Ex. 33:11; Gen.33:30)

Yet, he says, "He who has seen me, has seen my FATHER."
- Jn. 14:9

DOES THIS MEAN THAT JESUS MADE WAR ON YAHWEH?

Does this mean that Jesus made war on Yahweh? Not really.

Jesus was the strongest upholder of the laws of Yahweh. He said, "I did not come to destroy the law but to fulfil it [actually to strengthen it]. . . .

Unless your righteousness exceeds that of the Pharisees, you will in no wise enter the Kingdom of Heaven."
- Matt. 5:17, 20.

Valentinus, one of the leading lights of the early Christian church taught that the God of the Jews, would become the ally and servant of Christ at the end of the age.

On the other hand, Jesus did not put his wine into an old wineskin or sew a new patch on an old garment. He started something totally new. So radically new that sometimes even

the so-called Christians fail to understand it. On another occasion, Christ quoted from the book of Enoch,
"ALL WHO CAME BEFORE ME WERE THIEVES AND ROBBERS"
- Book of Enoch II, 531.

"I am the door for the sheep, all that ever came before me were thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them." - Jn. 10:7,8

Many foolish Christians want to go back and start observing the Feasts of Israel and offer up burnt sacrifices, as in olden times.

They fail to understand that the FATHER, we seek to serve is not Yahweh, although we do reverence him because of his authority, goodness, mercy and justice.

We just do not offer up burnt sacrices to him.
