The Seventh Trumpet is at once an Intelligence Report and a Spiritual
Commentary upon the Events and Affairs of our Times. It is intended
to be an ongoing Educational Curriculum based on the subterranean
streams of economic, social, political, spiritual and historical facts,
little known to the general population.

"And if ye go to war in your land against the enemy that oppresseth you, then ye shall blow an alarm with the trumpets; and ye shall be remembered before the LORD your God, and ye shall be saved from your enemies." - Num. 10:9

Part 4

In Part 2 of this series, we touched on the modern form of idolatry known as Social Security and it's hidden dangers.

One of the unwritten 'contracts' we subject ourselves to, by assigning a SS # to our children, is the 'right' of the Federal Government to use them for cannon fodder in its 'empire building'.

In 1935, the Social Security program was enacted as a simple retirement system to be funded by payroll contributions.

But in 1974, the Senate Finance Committee voted to issue a Social Security card to every child entering the first grade.

Time magazine of March 13, 1972, commenting on the action said, (p.16) "Such a system would further enable the Government to amass information on citizens and STORE IT IN A CENTRAL COMPUTER UNDER A SINGLE IDENTIFICATION NUMBER."

Then in 1989, a law was passed that every child, over two-years of age, must have a Social Security number to qualify as a dependent on tax returns.

Now a program has been implemented, that when the baby is born, the hospital will automatically apply for the

Page 1.

social security number! The name of the program - ENUMERATION AT BIRTH! To Enumerate means to "ASSIGN A NUMBER!"

Not only do our sons and daughters use their SS # in the military, it is now being encoded in a 'bar-code'.

The Federal Government is moving rapidly into bar-code identification. Automatic I.D. News, April 1991, says, (p.46) "Everything that is being used in the military system has been-or will be-marked with a bar code. . .

There is also another move afoot to re-introduce mandatory service, as opposed to 'voluntary' service.

In 1974, a strange, new mark began appearing on products. Until today, virtually every product is now marked with that familiar UP barcode.

And there are three embedded numbers on every UPC barcode. Today, nearly every product we buy from the store has a UPC (Universal Product Code) symbol--commonly called a 'bar code'.

And all bar codes have an occult number embedded in them. YOU GUESSED IT! 666!... they start the code, mark the middle, and they finish the code with the number 6.!!

Something else mysterious has appeared. In the last few years, some UPC codes have appeared with additional boxes underneath the bar code.

Beside the boxes are 2 letters - the letter F and the letter H! According to researchers, they stand for forehead or hand. And the purchaser must have the required mark in their forehead or hand before purchasing.

You say it'll never happen!

Bar codes, such as these, have already appeared in some Midwestern stores. According to researchers: the F - is for FOREHEAD, and the H - is for HAND! And according to researchers, the purchaser must have a mark in their right hand or forehead before purchasing!

Most of us are not natural born killers, so when one enters the military, the urge to kill the 'enemy' must be drilled into us.

A story is told about an "aged stranger" who entered a church, at the beginning of the Civil War, where the congregation had been listening to an heroic sermon about the glory to be won on the battlefield by young patriots "armed with the love of God."

Motioning the startled minister to stand aside, the aged stranger improvises an oration that made clear the true meaning of the prayer they had just prayed:

"O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells;

help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead;

help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire.

"Help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with their little children to wander unfriended, the wastes of their

desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it.

"For our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet!

We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen."

When one kills, when one drops bombs on a nation where over fifty percent of its population is under the age of fifteen, when one runs death squads in Third World countries, when one works people to death for pennies a day in "slave-wage" factories making clothes for Ann Taylor and Nike shoes, etc.

(all activities necessary to "empire-building" or reasons for "empire-building"),

one must possess a moral certainty beyond the moral relativism that the "Secular-Humanism" of Europe is incapable of conferring on a person, unless one is an out and out sociopath.

Empire-building (and the kind of killing and brutalizing that goes along with it) is a messy thing, and when one embarks on this kind of thing, one must possess the kind of moral certainty that will get one through all the untidiness.

Even the SS who ran the death camps at Auschwits-Birkenau and elsewhere knew that - and that's why they adopted as their motto "Gott mit uns," which means, "God with us," or "God is on our side."

Religion is what gives the soldier, the jailer, the slave-master, the death squad functionary, etc. the psychological wherewithal to carry on in his messy, untidy, and often bloody work, a fact that led Pascal to remark, "Men never do evil so completely and cheerfully as when they do it from religious conviction!"

Recently at an international conference David Muller, President of the South Movement, Australia interviewed Prof. Siegwart-Horst Gunther, President of Yellow Cross International, for New Dawn.

DAVID MULLER: Professor, I gather that Depleted Uranium is a by-product of the nuclear enrichment industry. Is this correct?

PROF. GUNTHER: Uranium ore, as found in nature, is a compound which consists for the most part, of the isotope 238 and about 0.70% of the isotope 235. Now, as the isotope 235 alone is fissionable and hence of use for the reactors, the uranium ore, poor in

that element, must be enriched. Such a process involves masses of material and creates consequently huge quantities of depleted uranium (composed mostly of the sole isotope 238).

DAVID MULLER: Why did the U.S. use Depleted Uranium shells in the Gulf War?

PROF. GUNTHER: Depleted Uranium possesses characteristics which make it very attractive for the weapon technology :

"It is the heaviest element occurring, so to say, naturally on earth: 1 cm3 weighs 18.95 grams;

"Moreover it is a naturally pyphoric material. After penetration, so much heat develops at the exit point, that DU particles catch fire. A hit tank, for instance, explodes releasing highly toxic and radioactive products.

"After experiences during the Gulf War, since 1992, U.S. tanks are getting increased strengthening, all around, by DU. These U.S. tanks are ironically called Radiation Deponents.

DAVID MULLER: Professor you were one of the first people to expose to the world that the U.S. had used Depleted Uranium in the Gulf War. How did you make this discovery?

PROF. GUNTHER: "I found on the 7th of May, 1991 on the highway between Baghdad and Amman, in the desert, projectiles in the form and size of a cigar, which retained my attention, because of their unusual appearance and weight.

In that region, columns of refugees, aid transports and others had been submitted to attack by A-10 planes equipped with this type of ammunition.

"Later on I happened to see children playing with these projectiles. A little girl who possessed 12 of them died of leukemia.

Also in the children hospitals of Baghdad, Mosul and Basrah the number of leukemia, aplastic anemia and tumor development is noticeably on the increase.

Moreover a new up-to-date undiagnosed disease is seen with abnormal abdominal distension possibly related to disturbed liver and kidney functions.

Because of the impossibility of treatment the children die, most painfully from secondary infections.

DAVID MULLER: What are the short term and long term effects of DU contamination in Iraq?

PROF. GUNTHER: From my own observations in Iraq, the long term effect of contact with DU results in the breakdown of the immune system. Other effects noticed have been:

"Many infectious diseases, with serious complications are on the increase. Sometimes diseases break out which are known in Europe only through text books;

"Herpes infections, Zoster infections and AIDS-like symptoms are dramatically on the

increase, all of them possibly related to the breakdown of the immune system.

DAVID MULLER: The Walter Reed Army Medical Center in the United States tested Gulf War veterans suffering from Desert Storm Syndrome for radiation toxicity following Gulf War veteran outrage and Congressional pressure.

PROF. GUNTHER: My observations of the effects of DU contamination in Iraq show a similarity described in the so-called Gulf-War-Syndrome of U.S. and British soldiers in Kuwait.

Right now one hears about odd ailments among Gulf War veterans from the U.S., which could possibly be attributed to contact with DU.

One hears about hair loss, skin disease, damage to different organs etc. Even pregnant women are giving birth to crippled children. Laura Flanders recently reported in the Nation magazine on a U.S. Veterans Administration state-wide survey of 251 Gulf War veterans families in Mississippi.

Of their children conceived and born since the war, 67% have illnesses related to severe or missing eyes, missing ears, blood infections, respiratory problems and fused fingers." - end Quote

Sara Flounders, a contributing author of the 1997 book 'Metal of Dishonor: Depleted Uranium' and the Co-Director of the "International Action Center," writes that "Warthogs fired roughly 940,000 rounds of DU shells during the Gulf War.

More than 600,000 pounds of radioactive waste was left in the Gulf Region after the war. And DU weapons in smaller number were already used by NATO troops during the bombing of Serbian areas of Bosnia in 1995."

"Today in discussing the possible causes of the Gulf War Syndrome that affects over 90,000 U.S. veterans, there is an elephant in the room.

The entire debate is taking place with everyone pretending the elephant doesn't exist (i.e., that DU weapons aren't the cause of Gulf War Syndrome). This book (i.e., 'Metal of Dishonor') is about the elephant ...

DU weapons make all others so much scrap metal, giving the U.S. military machine and military contractors a huge advantage.

It matters little to the Pentagon in its race for unrestrained military dominance in every type of warfare that this new weapon not only kills those it targets, it poisons soldiers who handle it, civilians for hundreds of miles surrounding the battlefields who breathe the air and drink the water, and unborn generations.

These findings are consistent with those from Iraq, where the use of depleted uranium weapons during the 1991 Gulf War resulted in "increases in childhood cancers and leukemia, Hodgkin's disease, lymphomas, and increases in congenital diseases and deformities in fetuses, along with limb reductional abnormalities and increases in genetic abnormalities throughout Iraq."

Pedriatic examinations on Iraqi children confirm that: "childhood leukemia has risen 600% in the areas [of Iraq] where DU was used.

Stillbirths, births or abortion

of fetuses with monstrous abnormalities, and other cancers in children born since [the Gulf War in] 1991 have also been found."
- (Carlo Pona, "The Criminal Use of Depleted Uranium", International Tribunal for U.S./NATO War Crimes in Yugoslavia, International Action Center,, New York, June 10, 2000.)

You would think that the U.S. military would have learned from its use of DU weapons in the Gulf war and Yugoslavia, but apparently not.

DU munition were again used in the recent war against Baghdad and I suspect that parts of that city will be radioactive for years to come.!!

Many people are asking 'Were the wars in Iraq just about oil?' The answer to that question is NO!! Let's take a look at another aspect of the wars against Iraq.

The United States claims to have been taken by surprise by the ransacking of cultural facilities in Baghdad, Mosul and other cities, are not credible.

Such a tragedy was not only predictable, it was specifically warned against. . . .

Attacking the cultural resources that connect the Iraqi people to 7,000 years of history is part of the process of systematically destroying their national identity.

Perhaps the most devastating loss for the Iraqi people is the ransacking of the National Museum, the greatest trove of archeological and historical artifacts in the Middle East.

The 28 galleries of the huge museum were picked clean by looters who made off with more than 50,000 irreplaceable artifacts, relics of past civilizations dating back 5,000 years.

The museum's entire card catalog was destroyed, making it impossible even to identify what has been lost.

The looting of Iraq's museums and National Library, with the destruction of much of Iraq's cultural heritage, is a historic crime for which the Bush administration is responsible.

At least 80 percent of the 170,000 separate items stored at the National Museum of Antiquities in Baghdad were stolen or destroyed during the looting rampage that followed the US military occupation of Baghdad.

The museum was the greatest single storehouse of materials from the civilizations of ancient Mesopotamia, including Sumeria, Akkadia, Babylonia, Assyria and Chaldea.

It also held artifacts from Persia, Ancient Greece, the Roman Empire and various Arab dynasties.

The museum held the tablets with Hammurabi's Code, perhaps the world's first system of laws, and cuneiform texts that are the oldest known examples of writing-epic poems, mathematical treatises, historical accounts.

An entire library of clay tablets had not yet been deciphered or researched, in part because of the US-backed sanctions that restricted travel to Iraq.

The 5,000-year-old alabaster Uruk Vase is the earliest known depiction of a religious

The stone face of a woman, carved 5,500 years ago, is one of the oldest surviving examples of representational sculpture.

The world's oldest copper casting, the bust of an Akkadian king, dates from 2300 BC.

Another significant loss came from the burning of the nearby National Library, containing tens of thousands of old manuscripts and books, and newspapers from the Ottoman Empire to the present, including one of the oldest surviving copies of the Koran.

The library's reading rooms and stacks were reduced to smoking ruins.

How telling that U.S. forces so carefully protected Iraq's oil fields while ignoring the looting of Baghdad's internationally renowned museum.

The complete, and by all accounts preventable, destruction of one of the world's most significant collections of antiquities is a fit metaphor for current U.S. foreign policy, which causes more serious damage through carelessness than calculation.

They did nothing to prevent looters from destroying priceless treasures of Iraq's history in the Baghdad Archaeological Museum and in the museum in the northern city of Mosul, or from looting three hospitals.

The US military stood by and permitted the ransacking of the museum, an incalculable blow to Iraqi and world culture, just as they allowed and even encouraged the looting of hospitals, universities, libraries and government social service buildings.

The occupation forces protected only the Ministry of Oil, with its detailed inventory of Iraqi oil reserves, as well as the Ministry of Interior, the headquarters of the ousted regime's secret police.

General Tommy Franks, the overall commander of all US and British forces in Iraq, issued an order to unit commanders that specifically prohibited the use of force to prevent looting.

This instruction was only modified after several days because of mounting protests by Iraqi citizens over the destruction of their social infrastructure.

The looting of the Iraqi National Museum was the work of professionals, not desperate citizens exploiting the power vacuum. This emerges from statements made by the museum's director Mr. George, while escorting foreign journalists around one part of the museum. George said the looters must have been highly organized, since they carted off huge statues and other items, weighing hundreds of pounds, and must have been prepared to transport them.

"Secondly, he said, there were a large number of copies of artifacts in the museum, whose originals are in the British Museum, Louvre, or elsewhere.

NONE of the copies were stolen.

"In a sense, it is a total war against the past," said Prof. John Russell of the Massachusetts College of Art.

Because Mesopotamia, the region between the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers south of the mountains of Asia Minor, gave rise to the world's first cities, its first written language, and some of its earliest art and architecture, there are tens of thousands of artifacts and archaeological sites, now threatened, or already destroyed.

Babylon, located about two hours south of today's Baghdad, gave the world the first examples of writing, the first wheel, the first boats, according to Moyad Said, director of Baghdad's Iraqi Museum, now in ruins.

While in part, the looting was made possible by the inadequate troop deployment into the country, so that military forces were spread too thin to act as a police force, the deeper cause is that the U.S. Federal Government running the war is determined to obliterate the history and culture of the Arab world.

As the Bush administration begins its push for the formation of a Palestinian state, a Palestinian diplomat, speaking on a popular Islamic website, claims Israel is responsible for the looting of museums and banks in Baghdad, calls for jihad against "the occupiers" of Iraq and Palestine, denies Israel's right to exist and compares President George W. Bush to Hitler.

Wasef Mansour, a diplomat with the Palestinian mission in Morocco, made the remarks in an online discussion titled "What Israel Gains From the Occupation of Iraq," on Islam Online.

The prominent cleric Sheikh Yousef Al-Qaradhawi is one of Islam Online's editors.

Mansour's statements were translated by the Middle East Media Research Institute, or MEMRI.

Asked by a visitor to the website what Israel gains from the "wars it wages on the Arabs," most recently the war on Iraq, Mansour replied: The first benefit is the shattering of the great military power that Iraq possessed, which posed a danger to the Israeli entity.

Second, Israel will enjoy normal relations in various spheres with its surrounding [neighbors] because of American power, and thus will not need military power to implement its historic goal of establishing the State of Israel from the Euphrates to the Nile.

It will also benefit from the appearance of ethnic states in the region, as it seems that one of the Americans' first aims is to shatter the region and establish small states.

Thus, Israel will become one ethnic state among a great number of ethnic states in the region, and it will no [longer] be an unusual entity.

To this must be added the economic benefits that began before the war, when the American administration gave Israel $9 billion in aid and guarantees, and the benefits it will derive from its contracts for rebuilding Iraq and from the cheap oil it will get.

We should also note what Israel has already done, by sending agents as

soon as the American forces entered Baghdad; they looted the museums, information banks, and financial banks.

It turns out, therefore, that Israel will reap great economic benefits [from the war in Iraq] -- and let us not forget the possibility of the renewal of the oil pipeline from Kirkuk to the port of Haifa which was cut off after the 1948 war ...

Another of the site's visitors hoped "Allah would hasten to liberate the three occupied lands -- Iraq, Palestine, and the North African cities of Sebta, Melilia, and Tanja [sic]," to which Mansour replied: There is no doubt that this is the wish of all decent people and believers in our nation.

But such liberation is possible only by deeds. ... We must comply with the precepts of the Messenger of Allah, according to which when the lands of Islam are occupied and their men are unable to stop the attackers, jihad becomes a personal commandment (Fardh 'ain) for every Muslim man and woman.

Prayer alone cannot liberate these usurped lands ...

Identifying himself as a "pupil," one visitor claimed the "basic goal of the Jews was to take over the [land] between the two rivers ... the Nile and the Euphrates," and added, "Know that their greed will lead ultimately to an attempt to enter Mecca and Medina ..."

Mansour responded:

Among the Zionist thinkers are those who say that the State of Israel must be between the Nile and the Euphrates, because they claim that the Jews lived in or ruled this land for a particular period, and therefore this is the Promised Land.

Some Israeli politicians have adopted this approach publicly, or have implied it, and doubtless someday someone will try to actualize it.

But this claim [regarding Jewish control of the Promised Land] has been fundamentally disproved: The Jewish state ruled only over the internal part of the land of Palestine, for only 73 years. ... [the reigns of David and Solomon ??]

"It is inconceivable to rely on a period of only 73 years during which the Jews ruled part of Palestine, as a [justification] for the establishment of the State of Israel in Palestine where the Arabs ruled for 1,400 years. ..."

Joshua Marshall cites a report that appeared in the Weekly Standard by Jeffrey Bell: "Late last month, The Weekly Standard's Jeffrey Bell reported that THE ADMINISTRATION HAS IN MIND A 'WORLD WAR BETWEEN THE UNITED STATES AND ... ISLAMIC FUNDAMENTALISM - a war of such reach and magnitude (that) the invasion of Iraq, or the capture of top al Qaeda commanders, should be seen as tactical events in a series of moves and countermoves stretching well into the future'.

In short, the administration is trying to roll the table - to use U.S. military force, or the threat of it, to

reform or topple virtually EVERY regime in the region, from foes like Syria to friends like Egypt ..."

In the Arab and Muslim world, few there have any hopes for the current administration, and many see the "war on terror" as a war on Islam.

Any invasion of Iraq would be bound to foster even deeper resentment.

"It will have a negative impact," Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf told the Monitor this week.

From Morocco to Medina and beyond, the idea of America as the "good guy" is considered laughable, given Washington's sturdy support of the Arabs' traditional enemy, Israel.

On the contrary, parts of Osama bin Laden's message resonate, even with people who deplore almost everything about al-Qaida.

Selcuk Yilmaz says, "U.S. policy is a war against the Muslim people."

But, there may be more to these wars than just oil and building 'Greater Israel.

The Egyptian newspaper Al-Ahram of January 21 (2002) noted remarks made by a top Chinese general during a recent visit to China by Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf.

In an editorial entitled, 'World Hegemony', General Fu Quangyou's words are summarized as follows:

"Though China is relatively silent on the subject, it has made clear its worry about America's military penetration of Central Asia, specifically building air bases in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan and stationing troops in Tajikistan.

All three border on China.

High Russian officials, too, have voiced strong criticism of America's entry into a region that used to be a part of the defunct Soviet Union.

And they are even more critical of America's persistent pushing of 'NATO expansion'.

If you do not wish to see your sons and daughters used as pawns to build a One-World Government, then perhaps you need to start thinking of 'backing out of Babylon' while you have the opportunity.
